Aata-Jaggery Christmas Plum Cake

Ingredients

  • 01.

    Soak all the berries & dry fruits in fresh orange juice or alcohol in prior.

  • 02.

    To make cake, first make jaggery syrup.

  • 03.

    Melt jaggery with water. make a syrup. let it cool.

  • 04.

    Add vanilla essence, soaked dry fruits, condensed milk & melted butter.

  • 05.

    Mix all the wet ingredients. set aside.

  • 06.

    In another bowl sieve whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger powder, nutmeg & cinnamon & clove powder.

  • 07.

    Add lemon zest & mix

  • 08.

    Now gradually mix dry ingredients to wet ingredients.

  • 09.

    Put the batter in a baking dish.

  • 10.

    Bake in a pre-heated oven at 170 degree for 60-70 mins.

  • 11.

    After the cake is baked de mould it.

  • 12.

    Cut into slices when it is completely cooled.

  • 13.

    Aata - Jaggery Christmas Plum cake is ready to serve.
