Ingredients

  • 01.

    Melt Jaggery with little water on low flame. keep stirring for 7-8 mins.

  • 02.

    Once the jaggery is completely melted, the syrup is ready, then sieve it & let it cool.

  • 03.

    In a big bowl put whole wheat flour, baking powder, and baking soda & sieve it.

  • 04.

    Add fennel & coconut powder. mix well & add melted ghee and mix again.

  • 05.

    Once the ghee is completely mixed then add jaggery syrup gradually.

  • 06.

    Knead it for 8-10 mins. add more jaggery syrup if required.

  • 07.

    Knead it to make a ball.

  • 08.

    Once the dough is ready, roll it. and cut into shapes with a cookie cutter.

  • 09.

    Place on a baking tray & bake it for 10-12 mins at 120 degrees.

  • 10.

    Once baked, let it cool completely to make the biscuits crisp.

  • 11.

    Aata biscuits are ready to be served.
