Sabudana vada

Ingredients

Wash & soak Sabudana in enough water for 1-1/2 hr. Once it is soaked drain the water & keep it aside.

Boil potatoes & peel them off.

Dry roast groundnuts in a pan for 2 mins. It should not burn or get black.

After roasting groundnuts let it little cool & rub them with your palms to remove the outer layer.

Now grind these blanched groundnuts in a mixer grinder & make a coarse powder. There should be some chunks left in it.

Take a big bowl, mash potatoes. add groundnut powder, soaked sabudana, green chili, rock salt.

* If you are not fasting then you can use regular salt also.

Add coriander leaves & using your hand mix all ingredients nicely.
09.
Heat oil or ghee in a deep frying pan. Make a round tikki shape of this mixture & deep fry in oil.
10.
* If you want to avoid deep frying then it can be fried on non stick pan with less oil.
11.
Enjoy it with coriender chutni... & satisfy all your taste buds with this crisp, hot Sabudana vada.
