Chicken 65 | South Indian style chicken 65

Ingredients

  • 01.

    Wash chicken pcs & cut them into small cubes.

  • 02.

    To marinate add- yogurt, lemon juice, salt, jeera powder, garam masala, coriander powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, chopped curry leaves, pepper powder & ginger garlic paste.

  • 03.

    Marinate for a minimum of 1 hour & maximum overnight.

  • 04.

    Once marinated, add rice flour & corn flour, mix & coat them well.

  • 05.

    In a deep pan, hot oil & fry chicken pcs for 5-7 mins to red & crisp.

  • 06.

    Once all the chicken pcs are fried, keep them aside.

  • 07.

    To make the tempering, put some oil in the same pan.

  • 08.

    Add rai, green chilies, curry leaves & chopped garlic.

  • 09.

    Saute them for a min or 2. If you like the taste of sauce(ketchup) in chicken 65 then add some ketchup at this stage.

  • 10.

    Add fried chicken pcs & toss them well for 2-3 mins & serve.

  • 11.

    **Note ** in authentic Chicken 65 no sauce or ketchup is added. you can add it as per your choice.
