Ingredients

    Soak Sago & dates.

  • 02.

    Cook sago in water with a spoonful of ghee added to it. Cook for 5-6 mins, then sieve it & wash it. keep it aside.

    Dry roast Makhan, ground nuts & dry fruits ( almonds, cashews, walnuts). Grind them separately & keep them aside.

  • 04.

    Make a coarse paste of dates.

  • 05.

    Add 2 tsp of ghee in a pan & put khas khas. let it crackle. Add raisins & fry them.

  • 06.

    Now add dates paste & sago. cook them on medium-low flame.

  • 07.

    Gradually add ground makhana, groundnuts, dry fruits & apricots (optional). At this stage, you can add a pinch of cardamom powder also.

  • 08.

    Mix everything on low flame until they are done nicely.

  • 09.

    Turn off the flame & let the mixture cool for 5 mins. Makes balls ( laddoos) of equal size & decorate them with cashews.

  • 10.

    Energy balls ( laddoos) are ready, keep them in an airtight jar.
